1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values a website can store in your browser. Local storage and session storage are different browser mechanisms that can also remember information. This policy concerns ergonya.com, not the separate GIM website or websites linked from our portfolio.
2. Optional website analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, measures page visits, engagement and scrolling to help us improve this website. Google receives browser/device information, page paths and pseudonymous cookie identifiers. We do not send contact-form content, chat content or URL query parameters to Analytics. Advertising tags and Google signals are not enabled. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw through Cookie settings in the footer without affecting previous lawful processing. Google processes analytics data under its applicable data-processing terms; processing may involve countries outside the EEA. See policies.google.com/privacy and business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/ for Google information.
3. Analytics cookies and your choice
Google Tag Manager and Analytics do not load before you allow analytics. Refusal does not affect browsing or the AI chat. Your choice is stored in ergonya.analytics.v1 local storage for 180 days. Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days, which may refresh with activity. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change your choice; withdrawing disables collection and removes these Analytics cookies from this website. This does not erase already processed server data. No Google Ads or Meta Pixel is installed. Fonts and portfolio images are served from Ergonya. Language is determined by the URL.
4. Parev AI browser storage
Parev AI loads its script and configuration from app.parevai.com. It uses local storage keys beginning karl.visitor.v1 and karl-text-visitor for anonymous usage-limit identities, karl.conversation.v1 for conversation continuity between pages and channels, and gim.voice.microphone.v1 for your microphone choice and its label. Local storage remains until cleared by you or the browser; service-side token validity does not automatically erase it. The New conversation control clears the continuity token, without resetting usage limits or deleting server records.
Session storage includes karl.invitation.v1 to avoid repeating the invitation in the same tab, and karl.campaign.v1 for UTM campaign parameters from the page URL. The campaign data has a 30-minute inactivity validity period; session storage ends when the tab session ends. Invitation and campaign storage can be written before you start a conversation. Parev AI’s embedded requests omit browser cookies. These statements describe the widget, not every hosting or provider system.
5. External websites
Following a link to GIM, a portfolio product or another external website opens that service, which has its own cookies and privacy rules. Its cookies are not automatically cookies of Ergonya.
6. Your choices
The widget loads asynchronously with the page. You can choose whether to start a text or voice conversation and close it using its controls. You can inspect or delete stored website data and restrict browser storage through your browser settings. Restricting storage may affect conversation continuity, saved microphone choice and usage-limit recognition. Voice requires separate browser microphone permission, which you can revoke. Simply continuing to browse is not consent to optional tracking.
7. Questions and updates
For questions about browser storage, email hello@ergonya.com. This policy describes the current application configuration and will be updated when that configuration changes.
