Visit websiteWhat changes in practice
Visitors should understand what you offer, why to trust you and how to get in touch. The design supports that decision.
Changing text or an image should not become a small project. We agree what you need to edit and configure it in the CMS.
Add landing pages and services using shared components. Less repeated work each time you need something new.
See what we plan for and how we check it.
Help visitors reach what they need without waiting for the website to catch up.
Optimised images, fonts and code, checked with Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile and desktop. Score targets are agreed for specific pages and test conditions, taking your required third-party scripts into account.
Know who has access, what gets updated and how the website can be restored if something goes wrong.
Restricted permissions and protection for forms and CMS access. Backups, updates and support responsibilities are defined before handover. No website is immune to attacks, and maintenance remains essential.
Make it easier for more people to read, navigate and get in touch.
WCAG 2.1 AA as a project specification: keyboard navigation, contrast, structure, forms and content. Automated and manual checks across the agreed scope. A conformance claim follows verification, not a single score.
Forms and tools that collect what you need, with clear rules for handling it.
Appropriate settings for forms, cookies and third-party services, with data minimisation. We implement technical measures that support GDPR obligations. Legal notices, lawful bases and business processes require separate assessment.
Present your services clearly to people and make them readable by search engines.
Clear structure, useful content, metadata, canonicals, sitemap and relevant structured data. We plan URL and language migration. No promises of rankings or citations from AI systems.
Launching a service or campaign? Your next page starts from an established design system.
We reuse components and agreed templates for new services and campaigns, reducing the additional work. New designs, copywriting or custom functionality are scoped and priced separately.
Invest in what your business needs, with build and ongoing costs set out separately.
Build, migration, hosting, support and third-party costs are itemised. Reuse can reduce cost compared with an equivalent fully bespoke build. Any comparison with custom WordPress is based on matching requirements, not a blanket claim.
Bring the funding programme’s technical requirements into the plan from the start.
If you are applying for funding, share the specific programme guidelines. We assess the technical specifications and deliverables to be covered. There is no blanket approval for all programmes or guarantee of funding.
Ergonya CMS
Your new website should not require a developer for every small change. We design the editing workflow around the content you actually update.
Your content, organised.
Agreed fields for text, images and articles. Edit the content you actually need to update.
Reusable templates help every new page fit your business’s visual identity.
Try the editing workflow and learn how to use it before accepting the project.
We agree code and data ownership, access and support responsibilities.
From old to new
Pages, content, URLs, forms and integrations. We agree what stays, what changes and what will be delivered.
Review the design direction and try key pages and the editing workflow before the full build is completed.
We implement the agreed templates, migrate content and connect the required functionality.
Staging checks, redirects, forms and key journeys. Launch with a backup, rollback plan and training.
The right fit for the project
When visitors struggle to find their way, editing has become cumbersome or each new page takes disproportionate effort.
Ecommerce, LMS, subscriptions, user accounts and custom integrations are not migrated automatically. We inventory them before recommending technology, cost or a delivery date.
Before we start
Not necessarily. We first assess your current site and requirements. If targeted improvements make more sense than a rebuild, we will say so. The same assessment applies to Joomla and Drupal.
The fields and content types we agree, such as articles, text and images. The CMS workflow is demonstrated before acceptance. Roles, drafts, preview, scheduling and multilingual editing are assessed and specified per project, not assumed to be included.
This is the planned range for business websites with an agreed scope and ready content. The timeline starts once content, access and required approvals are available. Large migrations, new functionality or scope changes need a separate schedule.
We aim for a carefully planned migration, preserving URLs where possible and using appropriate redirects where needed. We check metadata, internal links and the sitemap. Unchanged rankings are not guaranteed: significant changes can cause fluctuations.
They are not automatically included in the base scope. We inventory existing functionality and agree whether it will be retained, integrated or rebuilt. No critical functionality is silently removed.
No. Technical compliance of the website is only one part of the requirements. The specific call and the business’s eligibility must be reviewed before any relevant commitment is made.
Let’s look at your website
Share the URL, what is holding you back and which features must be retained. We will discuss the right approach and scope.
